There was a country vibe at a White Rock restaurant this weekend – a restaurant of superstar proportions, in fact.
Reba McEntire dined at Washington Avenue Grill on Monday, May 23.
“It was very cool!” Rebecca Whatley from WAG said Peace Ark News Tuesday.
McEntire, 67 – described on IMDb as “the reigning queen of country music: – is well known for hits such as Fancy, Is there life and Consider me gone as well as television roles, including on Reba, Last man standing and Young Sheldon. She has also voiced various animated characters over the years, including Betsy the Cow on Charlotte’s web and Etta on The Land Before Time XIV: Journey of the Brave.
McEntire told the WAG crew she was in town filming a movie, Whatley said.
She posed for a photo with WAG’s Brent Gray – a partner – Mati Arsoniadis and Ashlynne Riddoch.
“We had the most amazing surprise visit today!” indicates the position. “The incredibly talented @reba! Thanks for the visit and we look forward to your next visit with us.”
Whatley described McEntire as “incredibly kind and a pleasure to serve”.
“He’s a beautiful person inside and out,” she said.
