Country music star Craig Morgan partners with Colorado Springs nonprofit to fight human trafficking

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Country music star and patriotic 17-year military veteran Craig Morgan is joining forces with Exodus Road, a Colorado-based nonprofit, to intervene and help raise awareness of the fight against human trafficking.

With a passion for changing lives, empowering others to join us, and being that voice with a mission, Morgan engages in development and strategic planning, helping those trapped in the dark world of human trafficking, detach and live a life of freedom and opportunity.

“The thing about Exodus Road that I love the most is the fact that they don’t go there and just rip them off,” Craig says, “They follow up and put them in their house, where they’ll be safe, and have the opportunity to move beyond, to move on, and hopefully overcome some of the traumas that they’ve been through in their lives. That’s number one.

Morgan joined the Exodus Road Board of Directors in 2017 and works with the management team to develop ongoing strategies, help free survivors and stop traffickers.

“Secondly, we have a strong focus on weeding out individuals who do, and I’m not talking about the John who comes in and looking for him,” Morgan expresses, “I’m talking about the real pimps as you would call, as most people refer to them, the people who are responsible for endangering them.
