Brooks & Dunn prove their long-lasting country music heritage on reboot tour

Brooks & Dunn launched their legendary country music career 30 years ago and to this day the duo remain one of the most famous groups in country music. It’s clear why this is the case after experiencing their last tour.

The country superstar duo, consisting of Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn, brought their iconic hit catalog to the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey on Thursday (September 16) as part of their Restart the tour.

Although they marked Sin City with their Las Vegas residency, the Reboot Tour marks the duo’s first nationwide tour in a decade.

“So much for ‘we’re quitting,’ eh? Dunn has already shared. “This horse that we were afraid to put in the ground apparently didn’t share our feeling… he must have been shooting in the stomach, eager to do one or two laps. I love the sound of this one… ‘Brooks & Dunn ride again!’ ”

“The memories of playing live are what kept the fire burning for us,” added Brooks. “Performers who have had the kind of nights like we’ve had with our fans, can never really let that go. Live is where we’re most at home, and it’s going to be good to get back in the saddle, let’s go rodeo! We will see you all on the trail.

Brooks & Dunn proved why they are one of the most successful duos in history throughout their epic 24 song ensemble which included all hits, such as “Brand New Man”, “Neon Moon”, ” Boot Scootin ‘Boogie “,” My Maria “,” Red Dirt Road “,” Hard Workin’ Man “,” Play Something Country “,” Hillbilly Deluxe “,” Only In America “and more.

The current nominees for CMA’s Vocal Duo of the Year also staged a huge vocals during a four-song medley, which included “My Heart Is Lost To You,” “It’s Getting Better All The Time,” “That’s Ain’t No Way To Go “and” This is what she gets for loving me “.

Brooks & Dunn had fans standing singing throughout the show, which sounded like a top hits album coming to life throughout the night.

Travis Tritt served as direct support for the tour, and he gave the perfect demonstration that traditional country music is alive and well.

The award-winning country star from Georgia performed a 12-song ensemble that featured several of her chart-topping hits such as “Anymore,” “Here’s A Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares)” and “It’s A Great Day To Be. Alive “. “Tritt also performed” Smoke In A Bar “, a track from his latest album, Carved in stone, which marked his first new music in over a decade.

Rising star Elvie Shane opened the show, showcasing his unique sound with his brief but punchy set as he performed tracks from his debut EP, Country roads. Shane was very impressed with the performances of “Sundays In The South”, “My Mississippi”, “Keep On Strummin ‘” and his hit “My Boy”.
