Veteran on-air personality Byron James hosted the star-studded tribute to twang. A familiar voice on stations such as 93.7 JR Country, 94.5 Virgin Radio and elsewhere, James currently DJs at Yale, Farm Country Brewing and other venues.

Perennial favorites The Washboard Union won Group/Duo of the Year and Roots/Canadiana.

The Mike Norman All-Star Band included the following honorees: Matt Genereaux (bass), Pat Steward (drums), Ryan Stead (guitar), Geoff Robertson (keyboard), Michael Meroniuk (fiddle/mandolin), Marcus Ramsey (steel guitar /Dobro) and special instrument winner Tom McKillip on saxophone.
